Impressionism in Watercolor?

Can watercolor be considered impressionistic? YES! In fact at the Cape Cod School of Arts, impressionism in watercolor is being studied and taught. I'm excited to be learning about this as I have always loved the concept of impressionism and yet, I paint with watercolor not oils.
